An easy to reach hidden treasure. The upscale décor and table settings along with attentive and gracious service are enhanced by the sweeping views provided by huge active windows that encompass three sides of the restaurant. All of this is surpassed by Authentic Italian Cuisine delicately prepared by Chef Tracey Kydes with the freshest local ingredients. We have dined often at Café on the Green and as always we were very pleased with the experience. The staff is very professional, friendly and a pleasure to have serve us. We expect a tasty meal and good service at the Cafe´ on the Green and they always meet or exceed our expectations.

I've lived in Danbury my entire life and I always forget to go to Cafe on the Green. Wanted to go out Saturday night and thought I'd give it a try. The location is good, service is good, however, the quantity of food is a complete joke. I ordered the Chicken Scarpariello, and no lie I think I received two tablespoons of mashed potatoes, maybe one chicken breast which was halved, so, in essence a half of a chicken breast and one sausage and a small side of vegetables. Do yourself a favor and skip this restaurant if you want a decent amount of food to eat.
