Beautiful venue and ambiance. Truly an exceptional and memorable dining experience. Service was top-rate and dishes were made to absolute perfection. Ordered the Buratta and Buffalo Cauliflower for appetizers. Beautifully presented and flavourful dishes. For the main dishes we had the striploin and miso squash, both were exquisite. Will have to return again for a special occasion!

Food and Service exceeded expectations. The elegant atmosphere and professional servers (thank you Lara!) were both wonderful, and the food was delicious. It is an expensive brunch, but worth the cost for those special extras like oysters, smoked salmon, and perfectly cooked prime rib and eggs benedict. We will be back for our next special occasion.

The Cambridge Mill Sunday brunch always impresses. The food is so fresh and perfectly prepared and PLENTIFUL! The buffet is kept fully stocked at all times. There are an abundance of friendly servers around to replenish drinks and clear plates, so you've never got dirty/empty dishes on your table. It is excellent value - particularly if you enjoy seafood!!

We went for Sunday brunch today with my parents and our 9-month-old baby, and overall, it was a great experience! The staff was very accommodating—they gave us a lovely window seat and even surprised my dad with a small dessert and candle for his birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch, especially for a buffet. Parking was plentiful, which made arriving stress-free. The concierge was friendly, though I only realized later that they offer coat check—you have to ask as it’s not proactively offered. The food was delicious, and my parents particularly enjoyed the oysters, even though the freshness varied a bit. The crab dip was fantastic, and the bread was incredibly fresh, paired with a variety of butters that were absolutely delicious. The cheddar scone was a standout—probably my favorite scone ever! The hot food selection was nice, but I do wish they had a live egg or omelette station. The eggs on offer were slightly overcooked from sitting in the warmer. I also hoped for more cooked fish options. On the bright side, my husband loved the meat selection and thought the Benedict was excellent. The dessert options were great, with a nice variety, including ice cream, which made for a perfect ending to the meal. One area for improvement would be the drinks service. The staff gets very busy, so it feels a bit awkward asking for refills after a couple of rounds. While I understand the need for alcohol to be served, I wish drinks like fresh juices, mocktails, tea, and coffee could be self-serve for convenience. For families, it’s worth noting that the only changing table is in the disability washroom. However, I appreciated the little toddler seat in there and the platform, which allowed me to sit and breastfeed comfortably. It would be even better if they offered a small nursing room, but that’s more of a bonus suggestion. Overall, we had a fantastic time and definitely want to come back again. My only regret? Not eating more, haha!

Very large historic and pretty building on the river in downtown Galt. Outside of the that the Cambridge Mill is quite unremarkable. It is very expensive. The wine list features mediocre wines at significant markups (check LCBO site). The food is good but does not warrant the steep price tag. I suppose you are paying for the setting and ambience. Staff are pleasant and earnest, but in most every case are students and not mature professionals as evidenced by our bartender/server's complete ignorance of the pricey wine list. You would think that spending $140 for a bottle of wine would immediately warrant the fine glasses and decanting. Nope. First dates, high school formals/proms, weddings and such or bottomless expense accounts will love it. Me, I'll go again to sit on the deck, watch the river and have a beer sometime in June.
