Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties.

Enjoy Carmine's classics catered to the venue of your choice. Our off-premises catering services range from a small drop off and set up for 20 to a full scale, off-premises event for 2000. Our signature dishes, including Carmine’s famous Meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, and Shrimp Scampi, will be delivered right to your door. Carmine's Catering offers one-stop shopping. Our full-service Catering Division offers a professional staff, complete set-up and service, rentals, linens, décor, and venue selection. Catering packages or customized menus available.
Private party facilities
Carmine's second floor offers our New Private space The Sinatra Room and semi-private dining in the Jimmy Durante space; with a mahogany bar, coat check and handicap access. The room seats up to 230 guests. Our plush theatrical drapes are perfect for semi-private dining for smaller groups.

We LOVE carmines, we always go when we are in NYC, but this time was awful. We are SO BUMMED. The waitress was late, rude and short with us. At one point she picked up my sons Arnold Palmer & never said anything to us. 20 minutes later when we asked about his drink she said, “oh there are no free refills.”… I replied “we would have paid for another had you asked.” She then put in orders of drinks for us but I know she personally sabotaged. She told other waitstaff she’d take care of us, but it was purposeful and neglectful. My Manhattan had too Much bitters in it, that it was dark brown in color. I watched her with the bartenders manipulate our drinks. We LOVE carmines, but was so upset about this experience. Alecia was our waitstaff name, beware.

One of the most amazing experiences in New York City, but word of the wise make a reservation as they were at capacity when we went! But service was incredible and food was out of this world!

I never thought that I would be writing a poor review. The service was poor and the food was subpar. We did speak with the manager and he was gracious to listen to our disappointments. He did provide us with a nut - free dessert and gave us his business card to contact him for our next visit. We have been going to this location for over ten years on December 26. Needless to say I will have to do some strong convincing to my family and loved ones for a return visit Christmas 2025.

I have not been able to get into this restaurant for several months having been there often and was so excited we got a reservation yesterday. The food is always great, server very polite just not thrilled with our table near the front door but we made it work. The food came out in time for us to make our show and another happy Carmines visit for our memories.
