Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties.

Your safety is our priority. As of 3/7/22, NYC no longer requires proof of vaccination to dine indoors. Indoor & Outdoor dining are available.

Enjoy Carmine's classics catered to the venue of your choice. Our off-premises catering services range from a small drop off and set up for 20 to a full scale, off-premises event for 2000. Our signature dishes, including Carmine’s famous Meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, and Shrimp Scampi, will be delivered right to your door. Carmine's Catering offers one-stop shopping. Our full-service Catering Division offers a professional staff, complete set-up and service, rentals, linens, décor, and venue selection. Catering packages or customized menus available.
Private party facilities
Carmine's second floor offers our New Private space The Sinatra Room and semi-private dining in the Jimmy Durante space; with a mahogany bar, coat check and handicap access. The room seats up to 230 guests. Our plush theatrical drapes are perfect for semi-private dining for smaller groups.

Neither their website nor the menu nor the server indicated that this white sauce is not actually a sauce but just garlic oil. When food got on the table and we asked, they said that they are southern Italian cuisine and that they don’t use anything except garlic oil and that’s their sauce. I gave them the advice that they should clearly specify that on website, menu and via server as not all of their customers may understand and know between southern and northern Italian cuisine differences in what is white sauce. The server and manager were both very defensive and I am sure they are not going to do anything associated with my recommendation. For the charges we pay and for the reputation they carry, I was completely disappointed. Not going there again for sure. Neither will be my large family and friends

We were recommended to go Carmines to celebrate my mother’s birthday. And we had a really great time!! The food was more than enough and our server was phenomenal!!

We were seated quickly. Our sever was great! It was odd that sandwiches were only available in the bar area. Food was very good. Nice atmosphere, but they need to “maintain” their decor! Crooked artwork and poorly lighted artwork bothered me.
