The Carriage House Restaurant in the F.M. Kirby Carriage House is open for Pre-Performance and Post-Matinee dining. Two Course Prix Fixe lunch and Three Course Prix Fixe dinners are available two and half hours prior to most Main Stage Performances and after all Matinee Performances at the Paper Mill Playhouse. Reservations are strongly recommended. Check PaperMill.org for scheduling and ticket availability. Sample Menus are linked on PaperMill.org/Restaurant.

An eclectic a la carte menu and desserts is available only in the Bar and Loft area; walk up service recommended for our bar areas, reservations available. Our full bar offers premium spirits, fresh fruit sangria, and a stunning selection of interesting wines by the glass or bottle.

    The food was wonderful. One of my guests said it was the best piece of fish he ever tasted and the burger was extraordinarily good. Our server and the chefs were very accommodating of our dietary restrictions.

    The weather was great for some outside dining. Our server Giovanna was absolutely terrific. She made our first experience at the Carriage House remarkable.

    We have season tickets to the Paper Mill and always eat at the carriage house before each show. We consistently have a slow server, therefore we make reservations 2 hours before the show starts and we are always running to get to our seats as the lights are blinking for last call. On 10/31/24 our meals were tasty. I ordered the sole. One thing I have to say is everything on the plate was the same color. I didn’t realize there was pearl couscous under the fish because the sauce, fish and couscous was all the same color.

    Our server was cordial and efficient.The food was very good,except my partner didn't think the cheesepie dessert tasted like ricotta.Drinks seemed very high compared with other venues, but we were not rushed and neighboring tables were friendly.

    We love the Carriage House as part of our overall Papermill Playhouse experience! We were sitting by the fireplace and had a nice view outside toward the playhouse. Food is always good and we love the options in the fixed meals and the cocktails were great; our server was helpful and always on top of things. A wonderful experience all around.
