The Carriage House Restaurant in the F.M. Kirby Carriage House is open for Pre-Performance and Post-Matinee dining. Two Course Prix Fixe lunch and Three Course Prix Fixe dinners are available two and half hours prior to most Main Stage Performances and after all Matinee Performances at the Paper Mill Playhouse. Reservations are strongly recommended. Check PaperMill.org for scheduling and ticket availability. Sample Menus are linked on PaperMill.org/Restaurant.

An eclectic a la carte menu and desserts is available only in the Bar and Loft area; walk up service recommended for our bar areas, reservations available. Our full bar offers premium spirits, fresh fruit sangria, and a stunning selection of interesting wines by the glass or bottle.

    Service was terrible. One of us did not get what we ordered. They never came over to ask if everything was ok. Dinner came out and our appetizer plates were still in front of us. Runner put our dinner plates down after asking us to pick up our appetizer plates. Dessert was terrible. Bread pudding is to be served warm it was ice cold. The cappuccino was also cold. Our waiter barely paid any attention to us. We will not be coming back.

    I don't understand why my reservation (made months in advance) had to be at 5:15 while the curtain isn't until 7:30. The service was good (maybe too efficient?) We finished our meal by 6:15, were not offered coffee and waited at least twenty minutes until our dessert was served. The staff was very nice, but someone's timing is off.

    The dinner was excellent. I had the duck, which was prepared perfectly. My friend had the pork chop, which was also well-prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

    Octopus salad and pork chop was cooked to perfection….also the choice of Rose to pair with the food was delicious ! Great service as well. Would most definitely come dine here again !

    The food was good, but we had to wait too long for it to come out. Since this was a 3 course price fixed lunch, there shouldn’t have been such a long wait. We never had a chance to eat our dessert, because by the time our entree was served, we had 30 minutes before the show. Our waitress was delightful, but we didn’t get to eat our whole meal.

    We have been to The Carriage House many times. The food was not good this time. The desserts were awful. The salmon was not good. Very unusual for The Carriage House.

    Food was excellent. Steak was tender, pork chop better than I have had and the rack of lamb was simply out of this world. Our complements to the chef and his staff.

    There is no better place to go to then the Carriage House if you are going to the Paper Mill Playhouse. Not only is it convenient, but the food is unbelievable. Never had a bad meal and I have been to the Carriage House many times. Besides the food, the service is great and the waiters/waitresses are always so accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend the Carriage House. Enjoy!

    We had a fabulous anniversary dinner. The staff was exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and took care of our every need in a timely manner. The Manager and Executive Chef came by our table to insure we were satisfied with our meal. The meal was outstanding! We enjoyed every morsel from the appetizer through the desert. We highly recommend the Carriage House Restaurant.
