   It was a Tuesday night, so not terribly busy, but food and service were still wonderful. We always visit Casa D’Angelo on our anniversary, and are amazed at quality and consistency.

   It was a packed Sat night, we had to wait a bit for our 7:30 reservation. The wait was worth it being greeted by our attentive professional server Dina! Everything was delicious from the chopped salad and calamari/zucchini appetizer to our excellent Bronzino, veal chop and fettuccini bolognese.

   It was my son’s 21st birthday celebration so I wanted to book a “special” restaurant. It took forever to get drinks, they finally brought bread and when I asked for more they told me they’d have to charge me if I wanted more. The waiter only told us half of the specials and it wasn’t until I heard the waiter next to us explaining them that I knew there were more options. It was extremely rushed and for our party of five and instead of the “special” birthday celebration, it was a dud. My food was cold, my husband was told he was getting fresh spaghetti and it was clearly from a box, it was bland and the only thing really delicious was the tiramisu. For our party of five they were able to get us in and out in less than an hour. It is too bad because we are locals and usually go to the other Italian restaurant on the corner where we have never been disappointed but I wanted to give this a try again because I thought maybe things changed. They didn’t. We won’t be back. . .

    Had a great dinner here as usual. All the food and the service is top notch here. Last night we sat outside and had bronzino and the pork rib special. We shared the special appetizer of grilled calamari, shrimp and more. Everything was cooked perfect and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant as one of the best in Boca.
