   I'd never heard of Casa Ludivechio until a friend told me about it last week. I've lived in the area for twenty-five years. It's the best Italian restaurant we've found in Tampa Bay. Our server, Tabetha, was delightful. We sat down, ordered the calamari appetizer, then dinner. I had the rigatoni with sausage in a red sauce; it was incredible. (I will order it every time I return it was so good) My wife enjoyed the cod, and the other couple with us ordered the ravioli and something else. We enjoyed everything, including wine and drinks by the glass. Exceptional experience, we will be back very soon.

   We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. When we walked in the host greeted us with happy birthday! That was a nice personal touch. The restaurant is an old Florida house and has a lot of charm and character. The food was delicious. The Pollo Ludovico was tasty and tender. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 was because we felt extremely rushed from the minute we sat down to ordering our drinks, appetizer, dinner and then wanting to box up our meals before we even finished. It just didn’t make for a very enjoyable, relaxing evening. If it was up to them we would have been out in just about an hour. As it was we left after being there 1 hour and 20 minutes because it was getting to be quite annoying. It felt like get in and get out. It was a little pricey. I just wish we had a little better experience.

   We when for my sister birthday and we where disappointed with everything, the only good think was the valet parking, the restaurant was very noisy and we did not enjoy our dinner. We had to yelled where we were talking to each other. The food was not up to par and too much tomato sauce on the food, the bread was cold and the service not so good. We had to wait to long for the server to come and server us. Over roll not good .

   My third time here. My wife's 4th. We came here to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. I ordered the Vitello Milanese. I will definitely remember to order that again. Amy enjoyed the Pollo Ludvico. Our appetizer was the Eggplant Rollitini. Not as good as our favorite Italian restaurant's but delicious non the less. I would also reccommend it. Fresh home made bread not sure if they bake it there but absolutely delicious with the Virgin olive-oil / black olive dipping sauce. Superb! Our waiters were well informed and very congenial. Service was swift yet non rushed. Twelve stars overall. Ciao!!!!

    We have been to CL about 10 times in the last 5 years - as we visit for a month once a year. We always make sure we stop here for a good dinner. This night was not up to par. We got a warm reception, and welcome to our seat. The waitress came and we ordered quickly after sitting. The bread came after about 10 minutes, then the salad by the waitress in about 20 some minutes after she said "you didn't get your salad yet?". So it was late. And it was very plain, not tasty, not a quality salad - gorgonzola, nuts, spring mix. Then the main course came, and it was also not so good - not up to the taste that we have had in the past. So dinner was slowly served, not very good taste wise, service was not good, and follow-up minimal. OVerall, we were disappointed, for a change.
