Casa Orinda has been serving the finest Western and Italian food in the area for the past 84 years. We are famous for our fried chicken, prime beef, and classic Italian pasta, chicken, and veal dishes -- everything being made from scratch in our kitchen using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients.

Our full service mahogany bar is a popular stop for locals and visitors looking for a nice refreshment and a hearty meal in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. We have three dining rooms, each with a slightly different character afforded by our hand-formed brass hearth fireplace, Western original art collection, famous antique gun collection, and alluring floral arrangements.

We've been going to Casa Orinda for years and really love this place. However, this is the 2nd time we've been there in 6 months and the food quality is going down hill. The food doesn't come out hot, specifically the sides like potato's and vegetables. We had prime rib there months ago and it wasn't great and last night a new york steak that was not decent quality meat. The cooking of them is fine. It's the quality of the meat. I won't be going back at this point as it's too expensive for what they are serving at this point. However, everyone that got the chicken dinners were very happy in our group.

Went to Casa Orinda last night for a small family holiday gathering and it was packed! It was so lively and merry and the Christmas decorations were so pretty. Our server was super attentive and helpful and even took my dad’s prime rib back to the kitchen to have them cut it for him as he is unable to use his right hand. We had so much fun and the food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Such a neighborhood favorite with the best clasdic dishes - prime rib, fried chicken, chicken parmgiana. The special was fresh crab cakes full of sweet crab meat, and minimal breading. Absolutely yummy. Waitress was fun and lively. Perfect dinner gathering.

This old, local establishment is consistently good and one of our favorite traditional places for well-prepared cocktails and cuisine. It's crazy busy on weekends and during the holiday season. Reservations are a must or expect to wait over an hour for a table. The establishment is festively decorated for Christmas. I would have given it higher marks but service was slow last evening, my steak wasn't cooked to order, and the back dining room behind the bar was too warm for comfort. We will be back however.

It’s always good when we visit Casa Orinda. We celebrated my husbands 70th birthday and introduced the restaurant to two family members that hadn’t been there before. They loved it. We will be back.

One cannot beat their fried chicken, although their prime rib and assorted Italina dishes are also great. Atmosphere is ultra casual Western style, and the service is always top notch. There is a reason why they have been around for about 90 years! One of most go to places for casual dining.
