Cascades, a Classic American Restaurant and Steakhouse, is housed in the historic 116-year old Stanley Hotel. Join us for lunch or dinner in our dining room. The menu features wild game, beef, seafood, burgers, sandwiches, pasta and Colorado specialties. We also offer delectable desserts.

Our bar and lounge offers seasonal cocktails and a whiskey menu with over 1,000 varieties. Ask our bartenders to help select a distinctive flight! The wine list offers a selection of sparkling, white, and red varietals to please your palate.

For an optimal dining experience, parties have a 2 hour time slot for their reservation.

    Our waitress on the veranda named Georgia was outstanding. She made excellent suggestions and brought us just the right drinks. And she was very accommodating when I asked her to take pictures just a particular way. Our Cascades waitress Ioana was also excellent. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with just the right attention by Ioana.

    We had a wonderful dinner while visiting the hotel. Our server, Mihail, gave quick and friendly service! When we got our entrees, I accidentally dropped half of the duck breast on the floor and was so embarrassed. A server assistant noticed and the kitchen agreed to make us a whole new duck breast which was awesome. Definitely did not expect them to do that but it was so so kind!!! Top notch! Great wine offerings.

    We had reservations but was seated in the bar. Do NOT sit in bar..we spent a lot of the night looking at people’s azz…too many people at tabletops, people standing around the people, loud, party mode..we wanted a quiet nice dinner. For the price, you deserve it! They knew we were coming. They did offer outside, but we were not dressed to sit outside. Server ok but rushed us thru meal, never ask about dessert. Food good.

    My seafood dish was outstanding. I did think my husbands steak was a little tough. Dessert was outstanding.

    The Stanley hotel is an amazing venue, as is the Cascades restaurant. However, part of a fine dining experience is the expectation of availability of items listed on the menu. Our party of six arrived on an early Friday evening with what was bound to be a busy Father's Day weekend. Three of our party wanted salmon, and after submitting our order were informed that they had "run out." At 6:00 - on a heavy weekend?! Someone didn't plan ahead. Our waitress did her best to recommend alternatives, but was clearly embarrassed. She did a great job, but it appears they may have also been short staffed as she was working no fewer than six tables. Outside of this, the experience was, overall, a good one with dishes well-prepared and presented.

    Food was well prepared and tasty. Outdoor patio was pleasant and fairly quiet. Our waiter, Joel, was friendly, professional, and prompt in serving us. The only negative thing I have to say is that we were surprised and unaware that parking was not complimentary for dining guests. Would have been nice to not be charged for this, or at least to have known in advance.

    We were seated outside and did not see a waiter for 15 minutes. Had to go in the restaurant to request one. The helper, who was very good, ended up being our waiter. When it started to sprinkle, he immediately got us a table inside. Food was good, but pricey. Beautiful hotel and bar area.

    Excellent Atmosphere, delicious food, cocktails and wine. We ate there three times in two days. Each time, our meals were fabulous. The Glazed Duck, Mountains Chili, House Salad were exceptional

    This historic hotel had a fantastic bar with the largest selection of scotch and bourbon whiskeys I've seen in the US. Prices were very reasonable. The dinner menu had good choices and the food was very good. If you are in Estes Park, Co, it's worth a look.
