   It is difficult to imagine that a high-level steak house cannot get the cooking temperature right, but two of the four steaks delivered to us were overcooked. This quality issue was compounded by the very long dead spots in the service while we waited for the next appearance of our server (on a night that did not seem overly busy). Finally, when asking for a second bottle of a quite standard cab, we were told that they had run out of the original and that we should move to a different wine. If it wasn't for the $$$$ aspect of this restaurant, we probably could be more understanding of the problems.

   Food was excellent. St. Patrick’s weekend so the atmosphere was rather loud. Waiter was very attentive.

   Enjoyed our dinner very much, service was exemplary_ Food was served perfectly from small plate to dessert. We were celebrating out anniversary , server Lacey brought us champagne to the table - my spouse doesn't drink , a glass of sprite was brought to our table immediately . Highly Recommend the calamari and the filet mignon. Plan to dine there again .

   The steaks were amazing! I was hoping to se more value for my money. Don’t get me wrong the steaks were wonderful but pricey for virtually every cut. Perhaps they offer more options $55-$70 not $89…

   Our biggest complaint was the server. She started off ok but then never checked back to see how our food was. Dessert menu was dropped off but server never returned to take our order. We had to ask other staff twice to get our server for our check. By the time server came with our check, she then asked if we wanted dessert. No thanks.

   I love this restaurant. Allison was an outstanding server who not only was attentive and friendly, she had a great personality and truly cares about her customers. She helped make my wife's birthday an outstanding experience. Service here is always above expectations. The steaks were excellent in flavor and quality, and all were cooked properly according to the variety of temperature requests. For sides, you must try the creamed spinach and the Brussel sprouts - top notch. The wine list consists of plenty of varieties with decent prices. I need to meet their sommelier, because they should be my new friend. (wink, wink) We had one person in the group who was vegetarian and disliked her French onion soup and mushroom risotto. Char is a steakhouse, but perhaps there are better options on the menu for those who don't want steak or seafood. For appetizers we had the tuna poke and the calamari. The tuna poke was up there with the best I've ever had, even having had poke in Hawaii! So good, especially considering this restaurant is not on the West coast.

   Everything about our visit was very nice. The service was great, with comfortable chairs and a good-sized table, and the steaks were cooked perfectly.

   Did not have the crab legs or caviar options which was kind of upsetting, and when I said I didn’t like the coffee desert the server gave us a disrespectful look.
