   We had a 8:45 reservation for our 33rd anniversary. We arrived slightly ahead of time were told that they were on time and would call when the table was ready. We went to the bar but couldn’t get near it, it was so crowded it took 15 minutes to get a drink. We asked about our table. Now they were running late. We finally got seated at 9:25. The food and waiter were great. It was so loud that we couldn’t carry on a conversation. We were mixed among several large parties. The environment is very upscale I wish we could have appreciated it more.

   Loved the atmosphere and the energy of this downtown restaurant. Our waitress was great & very helpful. Very crowed on a Saturday night at 8pm. My only issue was that our party of 5 had to wait 45 minutes past our reservation time, thank goodness our group was patient, because that was very annoying.

   Went to dinner with my two adult daughters. We had reservation for 7:00PM and did not get seated until after 7:30PM. Service was not as good as it should have been either, looked to me that they were very shorthanded and had a bunch of office parties and noise level was the loudest I have ever heard in a restaurant. Food was good but I would probably not go back to this restaurant for those reasons.

   Food just okay! They plop a 14 oz steak on a white plate ($69.99) that was small, not piping hot or juicy (actually more like warm) and literally just okay! It’s like OMG why are we allowing restaurants to charge this ludicrous amount of money for something that’s borderline okay!! Sides were fair at best, truffle fries tasty but soggy, creamed spinach had a weird spice, mashed potatoes dry! Husbands said Caesar salad was good, popovers good, food all just fair and disappointing to be honest! We’ve been to Many steakhouses, and Char (also it wasn’t a charred steak!! No bbq flavor for grill) disappointing us

   Exceptional service by our waitress, food was very tasty and extremely well presented and the taste was awesome, a little bit on the pricey side but great place

   The porterhouse was plain with zero seasoning and no butter. I thought it would be more like Peter Luger‘s. For a name like char, I can assure you there was no char. It was almost like it was boiled. I really like the place and in general like the food, but it was the first time I got the porterhouse and I do not recommend.

   What an experience. The cocktails were amazing, steaks hot and delicious. The staff as friendly And helpful. All in all a wonderful evening. Will come here again

    Excellent experience. We had the lobster bisque soup which was delicious. The bone in filet w the truffle butter which jus melted on your mouth. The seasonings and texture was perfect and we had the horseradish sauce on the side w the roasted garlic. Soooo good. The creamed spinach was by far THE BEST we have ever had. Really really good. Calamari was alil chewy for me but my husband likes it like that. The marunata a aoili that wasxserved with it were rleally good tho. Ohhhh and the stuffed mushrooms were yummmmyyyy. We ordered th lamb chops and the seasons were soooo good. Really yummy and the mango sauce they serve with it is delightful. Unfortunately I was only able to have one because the others kept cooking while I was eating and they were too tough. Excellent customer service. Toni offered numerous times to remake them and the manager came over to the table and wanted to make sure we were happy with another order. He wanted to comp the meal but we declined the offer for a 3rd shot at it. They came out once over cooked and the 2nd time undercooked. We will try again next time tho because they were very tasty. Overall Excellent experience. Ambiance was great. We went in a Thursday evening at 6pm and wasn't noisey* at all. We sat downstairs and will try to sit there again next time Def treat yourself to a great meal here ENJOY!! Toni was our server and had an amazing experience with her. Shes really great. We will absolutely be back and will ask to dine w her specifically.
