Made reservations for my husband’s 65th birthday. Was seated in the bar with sports tvs, not in the actual restaurant.
Have been here once before and sat in the restaurant, very nice. But this time, sat in the bar, no place settings, very casual and nothing like the restaurant. Complained and was moved to a booth in the actual restaurant. Manager was nice and brought me a free drink. Waiter absolutely sucked and practically ignored us. Checked on us 3 times. I had to waive him over to get my husband a drink. Entre took forever to get. This was a horrible experience compared to our first. Will have to question going back. $300 for dinner to sit in a sports bar, initially, then to be moved to where I actually made the reservation for. Excuses were made due to a no name comedian that was there that night. Apparently my husband’s 65th birthday, which I mentioned when I made the reservation didn’t matter.

Party of 4 and they sat us as at a horrible table. It was actually two tables put together to make a 4-top. And it was in the back, side of the restaurant where nobody else was. Wobbly, unleveled, crappy table. Meanwhile, the main dinning room had plenty of elegant booths sitting empty. Most likely it was because of booking on Open Table. However, you would think if you are spending more than $200/per person they would seat you much more comfortably. Food was ok, average at best. I didn’t love the meal but it was probably because the seating was so bad I couldn’t get past that.

Have been here 2-3 times in years past, always a positive experience before. This visit was unfortunate. The current decor is dark (literally) and unwelcoming, so much so that little LED "streetlamps" were needed at each table in order to see. Acoustics were very loud and all noise and conversations carried. The main server was more like a caricature of a unkempt server at a chain dinner house. Called my wife darling a number of times (really?). Entrees were pedestrian.... generally edible, but nothing that Charlie Palmer would be proud of for sure. If this location was not in a casino, I doubt it would survive. Clearly poor oversight and management here. It was to be a special occasion and it was NOT special. My dream scenario would be that Charlie Palmer reads this review himself. I think he would be mortified that this location bares his name.

Was very over priced. We ordered Steak Diane. The steak was so thin it couldn’t be cooked the way we ordered it at medium. We were told that would be pink in side, but it wasn’t due to being so thin. It didn’t come with anything except mashed potatoes and a serving of bread before the meal. Tasted ok, but very spicy. We ordered French Onion Soup as a side and that was $17 for one crock bowl. It needed a little more broth for my taste, but was ok. In the end our meal was pretty Spicey and I paid for that during the night with heartburn! Had regrets paying $208 for two people and no drinks were ordered. Just had water. The service was good.

We had the salmon and steak that we shared. The salmon was amazing it melted in your mouth and the steak was very good as well. The service was also top notch, and we would highly recommend dinning there.
