Family owned and operated in our 45th year of service. Chef Oshie is the third generation of the Morrisette family and trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, where he explored his passion for food and wine.     Our Linner was the best, we call a late lunch around 3:00 Linner between lunch and dinner. The meal we had were FANTACTIC, started with the Mussels, then I had the Cajun Seafood Gnocchi, and my wife had the Duck Confit for desert the Carrot Cake. All was excellent. The service was well above Exceptional. The Manager always greets up (Gonznar) and our Waitress was great there was no rush which we like, or if you are in a hurry Chateau Morrissette will sever you as you wish. Thank for a great Sunday

    Chateau Morrisette has been our special place to visit and eat since they opened in the early 80’s. We are never disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the food and wine are delicious.

    From the start the experience was so good! The setting of the restaurant overlooking the vineyard and beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains was worth the trip! Then the friendly staff greeted us and we were at our perfectly appointed table within minutes. The dining areas are rustic and beautiful. Our server, Sadie was friendly and knowledgeable with a response for every question making it obvious that she not only eats but enjoys the food there. Her recommendation was on point! She was nice and funny. The food was great! We had 2 appetizers, the cheese balls and mussels, cooked to perfection! I had the blackened salmon and he had the cheeseburger-also cooked to perfection! After we enjoyed their 2 chocolate desserts, they were okay. I had the soup of the day also but I don’t remember what it was-it was OUTSTANDING! We both enjoyed “Our DogBlue” as our wine choice-a favorite!

    The food in this quaint and picturesque restaurant is elevated. The ribeye was melt in your mouth and the wedgesalad was fresh and different with homemade buttermilk ranch dressing on the bibb lettuce. The shrimp and grits had an almost gumbo/cajun component with addition of beautifully seasoned sausage. The Chateau Morrisette wines rounded out a lovely dinner.

    We were seated quickly. Service was good. Shrimp & Grits was one of the best my husband has ever eaten. Complimentary wine tasting. Haven’t been in years, great to be back for lunch.

    As usually the service was outstanding , atmosphere above most hi end restaurants. The Staff has the ability to treat you as family, Now the food just gets better and better you can not go wrong with anything on the menu. Thank you will see you soon.
