   The food and flavors were simply outstanding! Every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations! We don’t get to dine out that often and yet were treated to an unforgettable dining experience … very attentive and friendly staff made us feel right at home. We can't wait to visit again!

   We arrived on time for our reservation but they were way overbooked and took 45 minutes to seat us. The food was just OK - we both ordered the surf and turf and the steak was nice but the lobster was not good.

   Couldn’t seat us until 45 minutes after our reservation time, sat us at 9:15 for an 8:30 reservation, and only seated us after multiple asks to speak to a manager. After we were sat there was used chewing gum on the dining table, completely unsanitary. The server then forgot our drinks until we reminded them 20 minutes after the fact. Food was decent and the staff was friendly and apologetic by the time the restaurant emptied out around 10:30/10:45 but this kind of experience for a booking that put a hold on my card for a prefix menu when the reservation was made is absolutely unacceptable. Extremely disappointed in this experience.

   We went there on Valentine’s Day, and they had a special menu for the evening. The item that my wife ordered was a steak and lobster tail. However, they ran out of lobster tail and didn’t bother to tell us that. They brought a plate that had little tiny pieces of lobster on it, which the waiter explained were lobster claws, broken into pieces. That was disappointing. However, they made up for it by giving her some scallops at no extra charge. Overall, it was a very good experience and the food was very good.

   Art was our waiter and he was terrific. We had cocktails, ceasar salad, wagyu rigatoni, lobster ravioli and chocolate cake. All of it was amazing. The only slight issue was the side of au gratin potatoes which was just slightly under done. Ambience was perfect for our anniversary dinner. It is our favorite restaurant on Coronado.

   Amazing special tonight - Beef Wellington - cooked to perfection! Crabcake was amazing as well! Looking forward to out next trip to Che Loma!

    Delicious! We went early for a pre-show meal. Wanted a change from our usual go-to places. So Happy we did. Sam was terrific. The meal was well-paced. We shared the escargot. Sauce was dip-worthy with bread. Hubby had Halibut & I had Beef Wellington. The Halibut portion was a bit small. The Beef was generous & simply divine. Ended with Cinnamon Bread Pudding. Big enough for 2 or (3) to share. Best meal we're had in recent memory. Cheers!
