   This was our 10th Christmas dinner at Chima Fort Lauderdale. We were pleased to see the sign out front addressing the dress code. It's too bad that some patrons still choose to ignore that. Over the years, the salad bar has continued to lose certain items that we liked. The most recent omission is the Endive with Bleu Cheese. The protein offerings last evening lacked variety. The same items kept circulating. Only after we were finished dining were some different items circulating - like salmon and grilled pineapple - two of our favorites. The grilled meat is always very salty. The good news is that our server Natalia was superb. We enjoyed a bottle of La Guerla Brunello which is always a hit. Our dinner check with tip was $400.00 for the two of us.

   The hosts were borderline rude definitely didn’t wanna be there. Sadly, I think they were understaffed, table of six, and we sat at our table for 20 minutes before being approached for service. The manager apologized. Then we sat at our table for most of the afternoon with no water and plates overflowing. The salad bar was delightful. The meat was just OK. I would probably visit Texas de Brazil before this place for the price you pay

   Christmas dinner at Chima. The meat quality was divine. The salad bar buffet was lacking. I think for the price the buffet could include a dessert. We had a vegetarian join us and they forced her to order the full menu meat option even tho she didn’t eat a bite of meat. That was not cool.

   My husband and I spent Christmas in Fort Lauderdale and wanted a unique experience for dinner. This restaurant was exactly what we wanted! Everyone was very nice and personable. The food was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for making our Christmas dinner a fun and delicious experience.

   We haven’t been to Chima for Christmas before and we won’t do it again. Every prior time everything was great but I’m going to chalk up the poor experience to the fact that they increased the number of tables inside and to the Christmas rush. I definitely won’t return for any holiday.

   Prepare to wait. Our rez was for 6:30. We sat down at 7:40 - this has happened twice now. Overall everything was disappointing except the food - beef. The salad bar was a mess , I had to send my drink back twice , we had to ask for salmon 3 times. It was so noisy we could barely hear each other. We usually go once a year to Chima. Think we will pass on this restaurant. It’s gone downhill quickly.

   The food and service is always exceptional at Chima. We've been to other Brazilian steakhouses and we always wish we had gone to Chima instead!Our latest visit we were there for Christmas Eve. It was busy, as expected, the food and service were still great. Our only complaint was that the room temperature was extremely cold, we hurried to get out, and put the seat heaters on in the car.
