    Our waiter was very unfriendly and the beef burgundy was extremely fatty and the sauce awful. The Duck was well done. Such a disappointment because it was a special birthday. Only one of the five meals we ordered was edible. The cost was way too expensive for this type of quality. The hostess and several of the food staff delivering the food were very friendly. They automatically added the tip for 5 people which I’ve never heard of this before.

    The food was delicious despite the fact that my husband was brought them wrong entrée. He decided to eat it anyway and not say anything about it. He ordered the walleye and was brought the perch. A little more than halfway through the meal the waiter came back and acknowledged that he brought the wrong entrée. He offered to bring him the walleye, but my husband said no, he would eat perch. The waiter offered a free dessert to right his mistake. Overall, one of the best finer meals I’ve had in DoCo in a while.

    The food was very good. The ambiance was amazing. Service was fantastic. If it’s sushi night, get a roll—best tempura shrimp roll I have ever had! The seafood pasta was good, NY strip was slightly overcooked and quite fatty, the lake perch (pan seared) was good. Don’t skip dessert—the carrot cake was delicious.

    The service was substandard. We felt like they were more concerned about rushing us through our dinner rather than providing us with exceptional service which was our expectation for a restaurant that touts high quality of food and high prices. The staff basically basically dropped the food and ran away. The ribeye steak that we ordered which is what I bet most people order at Chop was full of gristle and I couldn’t chew it. When I brought it to the servers attention, although they offered another option, they related the cooks response to my complaint with a lack of concern for my satisfaction. They said, “ this is what a rivet steak is made of..” The portions were very small and there was nothing special about any dish we ordered. The noise level too high to enjoy any part of our dinner, until some very disruptive patrons finally left the restaurant. Very dissatisfied with the entire experience especially when socked with a 150$ bill with no comp for the poor quality steak.

    Everything was so delicious and Adam was an amazing waiter. Definitely order the crostinis, they are to die for. I'm allergic to mushrooms, but they were super careful about that allergy when my friend ordered the Mushroom Ravioli, which we (and Adam) joked as a murder pasta. Friend was SOOO in love with it, and I am safe and happy my friend enjoyed it! She says "Thanks Mike--ADAM! ADAM, sorry!"

    It’s always a lovely experience however, the food was not hot and the asparagus on 3 separate orders were awful. Cold and no seasonings. I will go back again because it’s one of the nicest places to eat in Door but, something needs to be corrected to make sure your food is served hot. We were a family of 6 and it was a cerebration dinner…it was disappointing this time around. The servers and Hostess were great!
