Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by both business and private parties. The conservatory has a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space. Our extensive cellar at Clos Maggiore includes over 2,000 labels and was extended earlier this year to include an additional 400 wines at a low – mid price range. We are very proud to have been awarded the “Best of Award of Excellence” consistently since 2003 by Wine Spectator.

Available Monday to Sunday 5pm to 5:45pm. - 2 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £32.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 3 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £39.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 48 hours cancellation policy from the date of booking, cancellation this period will incur a charge of £40.00 per person to the card provided. - We welcome children above the age of 14 years.

    The service at this restaurant is poor, and the food is mediocre. However, the dining room is beautiful and perfect for the holiday season. The menu is easy to follow, and while the food is acceptable, it's nothing too impressive. I would recommend the desserts over anything else. Unfortunately, the hostess sets a negative tone for the entire experience. She is rude and makes inappropriate comments about guests' attire. Her pretentious attitude is out of place, and I believe the restaurant needs to hire someone else who can treat customers with kindness and respect. Good luck!

    From start to finish we felt like that we were VIPS the staff were attentive and food was fantastic and we can not wait for our next visit

    This was possibly the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in 10 years, or maybe my whole life. Booked months ago as we were told it’s a very good Xmas location due to the decorations, decorations pretty ordinary tbh. 40 minutes to get seated after we arrived on time for the reservation , along with other guests, no drinks for 20 minutes, 15 minutes for water to arrive and 3 requests , no bread before starters arrived which the cod was freezing cold (hot starter). After an hour of the most painful service, we stood up and left. China town got our custom as we were left starving and royally f….. off

    Ok let’s be honest here. It is Christmas!! We know these bookings mean we have to be booked in advance and had to wait for table to be cleared , but this is a restaurant we have used many times in the afternoon time in London. It’s one that delivers excellence on many ways. Yes we had to wait, but that’s because the restaurant is recognised for how good it really is. The food was excellent , the staff recognise you which is a rare treat, and and if there are any issues they are dealt with Calmly you would question why you asked! Food was excellent service was so attentive as embarrassed to keep us waiting . In short have used this restaurant time after time and will Continue to do so it’s a London gem

    Booked PURELY for the xmas ambiance/decorations downstairs but got seated upstairs. Very plain, not Christmassy. 6 overflow tables. They shouldn't have overbooked as most people would have booked there to experience downstairs. That's the whole point...to see the xmas decs, so we could have tried somewhere else if we had known. Food was excellent though but charged £8.90 each for small bowl mash and small cabbage sides!
