Had the wings! So good. The crab cakes outstanding! Turkey sandwich my husband loved. Its a bar but not bar food. My son had the burger he wasn't that impressed with his meal. Waiter was awesome. Food came out fast and enjoyed. Would go back.

If your in the Chinatown area give Clyde’s a look. I had the steak frites and my daughter had the burger. Both were very tasty. The fries are awesome! Grab a reservation especially if the Capitols have a home game. Easy access off the metro.

Clyde’s of Gallery Place is the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful meal. We made the reservation after visiting the Cherry Blossoms at the Tidal Basin and before a Caps game. Introductions were made and drinks were served quickly and effortlessly. Caroline was so pleasant and very professional. Caroline had our meals served in no time and we made it to the Caps game before the first puck drop. Perfect!!

We went THREE TIMES in eight days! Need I say more? The atmosphere, building, STAFF, FOOD—all amazing. My absolute fave was fried chicken, greasy green beans, and whipped potatoes. Hubby loved the shrimp and grits. We loved the oyster Rockefeller as an appetizer. The same owner as the Old Ebbitt’s Grill owns Clyde’s, so one knows it will be great!

We ate upstairs in a very pleasant room. Food was good enough. Service was slow because wait staff had too many tables. Waitress was one of the best I’ve encountered in DC. We’ll be back.
