I have been coming here every year around Christmas with my entire family. I started coming here when I was very little and I am now 55 years old. My parents (who are no longer with us) started coming here right when it opened and told us about this whole area being chicken coops, etc.. I have since started passing down this tradition to my children and now my grandchildren. Thankfully the food menu has changed a little bit so there are more options now. The Ambience is always excellent. Usually the staff is also excellent. When we got there and confirmed our reservations we were happily greeted by the Hostess. She was extremely friendly and very accommodating. We eventually had our waitress come to us and ask for our drink options. Those took quite a bit of time and eventually she came back without our drinks and asked for our dinner options. She then brought out our drinks and not long after that the two very unfriendly young servers came out with our food. One of the servers hit my full youngest daughters drink and it spilled everywhere. I mean everywhere. It was all over the table, floor, extra chair and both of my daughters coats which now have to be dry cleaned. The waitress DID NOT come over to assist or to apologize for the accident which I do understand happens. The only thing that was done was the server helped clean up some of the spill and brought here a new drink. I would have expected even the GM on the floor to come over also as years in the past the GM would walk around and engage with the patrons. I really expected more from this 5 star dining experience.

My party and I were looking forward to eating here, as last time they were booked, so we made reservations a month in advance. Our waitress was pleasant, but they seemed understaffed. The food was mediocre. It wasn’t anything special and for the price, we were pretty disappointed. It just seemed okay. Nothing special. The rustic atmosphere was the best part.

Let me start with the good. Our server was very nice, professional and courteous. She even comped one of our meals without us asking. The food- I had the fish with crab meat. It had no taste whatsoever. It was so bland I barely ate any of it. This was comped. The two other dishes of turkey with stuffing and mashed potatoes, tasted like reheated turkey and probably could have gotten the same meal for a lot less at a diner. And it would be better tasting. This was a truly a disappointing experience as we had lunch there over the summer and it was wonderful.

Typically the food is excellent, unfortunately this time our turkey dinner entree was lukewarm and vegetables were not as tasty as in the past. Also, dessert menu was not appealing, had vanilla ice cream instead. Hopefully next time will be a better experience.

Paper menus that were dirty. Menu has shrunk and with less choices. VERY slow service. The size of the portions has shrunk. Food was just ok. Waiting for the waitress was the main event. We were very disappointed. I personally have been going there for over 20 years. It’s changed for the worse. Very sad.

The service was great. Drinks yum! It was super busy on a Sunday during Holiday season but our food came right out. It was delicious. We really had a nice time.

Our family had a lovely dinner overlooking the center of peddlers village and the holiday lights. The food was delicious and the holiday drinks were perfect. I tried the Holiday Flirtini and my husband tried the Cider. Our daughter is still speaking about the Palermo Rigatoni. The beef burgundy was tender and tasty. We look forward to returning the next time we’re in town.

The food was not good and overpriced. My son & husband got Ceasar salad as an appetizer and it was 5 small pieces of lettuce with barely any dressing. Husband's crab cakes were burnt as was my son's burger. I got chicken schnitzel that was soggy. Never again!
