The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 119 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

Reservations for dinner and the show are required. Please call the restaurant to check availability for reservations.

    Once again, the best Spanish /steaks I’ve ever had best everything serviced top shelf atmosphere the best. Everybody is so polite. The place is amazing. I fall in love with it every time I go.

    Great restaurant, great food, great service, great history, nice ambiance but Ybor City neighborhood isn't for everyone. Parking easy and free and close by, but I would not recommend for families after dark. Plenty safe inside. We have been to two of their other locations and always wanted to go to the original. Glad we did. Just be careful.

    We had to wait a bit as the restaurant had overbooked for the night, but no problem! Our server, Ernesto, was amazing and very helpful with guiding us through the menu. Highly recommend!

    Even though we waited a half an hour after our reservation time to be seated, the staff made sure the experience was great. The food is incredible. Worth the wait!

    We dined at Columbia last night and they were a little behind with their reservations. There may have been a wedding reception that was causing a bit of a backup. We are regular customers and when we explained we had an event to attend and we were under a time constraint, they were able to seat us within minutes! They couldn’t be more accommodating!! They really do take care of their regular customers!!!

    Our wait staff went above and beyond today. My son had a tough time deciding what to eat. Our waitress politely took his menu and started asking him questions about what he liked to eat. With assurance he allowed her to pick his meal. It was perfect and he ate it all! Thank you so much!
