The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 119 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

Reservations for dinner and the show are required. Please call the restaurant to check availability for reservations.

    Food was excellent and our first time in Ybor. We have been to Columbia at St. Armand's and they are both top notch. My husband and I got the seafood Paella and it was off the charts delicious. Fabulous atmosphere and you could tell everyone was enjoying!

    The Columbia is Tampa in regards to history, ambiance, and cultural cuisine. The key to The Columbia is to pick offerings that contain your preferred combinations. They will most likely not be prepared in way you normally would and that’s the magic of The Columbia and its family recipes and offerings. Pick what looks good, throw in a 1905 Salad and Cuban Bread, and let The Columbia do their thing. Save room for the amazing Key Lime Pie! If you’re visiting Tampa, go to The Columbia! It’s a must visit every time this Texan visits Tampa.

    Food was great as always. I sugest new chairs - more confortable and square back to allow people to hang their handbags.

    The Columbia is a Tampa tradition for Spanish/Cuban food now going on 119 years. The setting is like eating at an old Spanish restaurant in Granada, Spain---the blue titles, the arched doors and windows, and the Gonzmart family photos lining the walls. We enjoyed our cups of black bean soup, the sangria (always very special) and the main dishes: picadillo, ropa vieja and the salteado fish. Save space for the flan or crema catalana, and if you like coconut try the special homemade coconut ice cream served on a half coconut shell. If coming to Tampa, you must do the Columbia.

    From the moment you reach the doors, to the moment you sit down you’re just in complete awe of the rich history of Columbia Restaurant. The menu was diverse and had plenty to choose from, the wine selection was superb and the food was excellent! Our waiter Colton was outstanding. The complete experience was a 10 out of 10.

    I always love dining at the Columbia. Very nice and historic atmosphere and the service is prompt and professional. The value for the food and flavor is very well priced as well. Looking forward to dining with the Columbia next Christmas as it has become a tradition for my boyfriend and I.
