Cork Tree Restaurant is built around California products. Local ingredients are used whenever possible and wines of the West Coast, particularly California, are featured.
The wine list is always a work in progress, with a balance of well known wineries, as well as boutique wineries.
Cork Tree enhabits a style rich in California elegance. Large and round booths privately encased in wood and fabric provide intimate spaces for conversation and romance, while providing views of the understated glamour of the dining room. Beautiful Palm Trees and a natural cascading fountain make the Cork Tree Patio wind-protected and well-appointed for dining under the stars. Additionally, depending on the size of your celebration, two private dining options await.

Service was good. Appetizers and salads were brought out together which was not great. I had to ask our server to wait on the entrees. When they arrived it was clear that they probably had been under a heat lamp for a bit of time. We ordered the surf and turf special, the shrimp and scallops were like rubber obviously overdone and basically tasteless. The steak was way overdone and dry. Supper disappointed.

While in Palm Springs we visited Cork Tree twice for dinner. Impeccable service, delicious food, excellent wine and cocktail list and lovely atmosphere (sit on the patio if possible). We had the pear and beet salads and the scallops and steaks were cooked to perfection. We will be back!
