Dining at Coyote is always a great experience that’s not to be missed while in Santa Fe. Our food was excellent and the service was impeccable. Our waiter Parris was a consummate professional who continued to surprise and delight.

We had a lovely dinner at Coyote Cafe. The squash soup and Kamachi made an excellent combination. My companions had the pork belly tacos (very tasty and rich, excellent tortillas), the pork chop (tender and juicy), and the mussels posole (an unexpected flavor combination). Dessert was pecan pie with ice cream and banana cream pie, both very satisfying. We’ll be back to coyote cafe!

Hugely disappointing Thanksgiving dinner. Soup and corn bread luke warm, one meat dish came cold and the bison Luke warm and full of fat. The pecan and chocolate pie looked like they came from Costco, and badly presented. Way, way overpriced. We had great meals before at Coyote Cafe and liked the new chef; was he absent?

So we have always liked going to the Coyote Café when we’re in Santa Fe and of course we will continue to do so. We have been there on Thanksgiving eve many many years. As usual, service was great and because we had a reservation, the wait was very short. I really thought that the food this time was just average, not as great as it has been in the past. It was Thanksgiving and they had a limited menu, but as I said, we’ve been there many times on Thanksgiving with a limited menu and the food was better. as always, service was outstanding and the ambience you would expect of the Coyote Cafe. . I had the pumpkin soup and it was OK, I had to doctored up with a little bit more pepper. I had the bass and had asked that it be pretty cooked through, but it really wasn’t. The desserts were good, but the crust was so hard that it was difficult to eat. Look I like this restaurant and I will be back, but maybe because it was Thanksgiving, this meal was a little less than what I would’ve expected

Lovely meal. Great staff, excellent food. But, Teri knives. They kept slipping off the plates and landing in our laps. IYKYK. I’m not kidding. They need new knives for their silverware.

Fun. Festive. Bright and sunny. A bit noisy, but the place was packed, every table taken. A real Santa Fe experience. Bravo.

Coyote Cafe’s staff truly knows how to serve customers. We were greeted warmly, shown our table, and, because we indicated it was our anniversary, were bright two glasses of champagne and addressed by name by our waiter, Parris. He truly knows how to provide table service! He made excellent recommendations and made sure our experience was top notch. The food, atmosphere, and service were all perfect!
