Overall we enjoyed our evening. The hotel was decorated for Christmas and was beautiful to walk around and see the hotel's history and Christmas diplay.
The dinner started with a disheveled and seemingly unhappy hostess. She certainly could care less that we were there. Our waitress, Rachel was pleasant and very friendly. She was knowledgeable about the menu and shared some details about the hotel's hstory. My wife had the scallops and I had the mushroom alfredo with steak. My wife did not like the scallops and only ate half of her meal. She stated that something was off with the scallops and did not appreciate the bacon risotto. My alfredo was good and very rich. The steak was properly prepared and seasoned well.
It was our first visit and we were not disappointed. From the moment we stepped in the door the service was flawless. Enjoyed a cocktail at bar (couldn't believe they were 1/2 price). Our food was amazing (braised short ribs), fruiti mare and cheesecake. Our server, Amanda, was great. We will definitely be back,
Food very good and authentic Italian. Fantastic wine choices. Server was attentive and did an excellent job. We will definitely be back and look forward to it.
