Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in Chew Magna

Booked a brunch grazing board for 7 people on a hen do the morning after!! The staff were lovely, smiley and attentive. The food was yummy, beautifully presented and such good value. We even got some boxes to take home some of the bits we didn’t manage to finish. A wonderful end to a fun weekend in Bath. Thank you 😊

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed in warmly. The table was dressed festively. Our waitress (sorry I cannot remember her name) was lovely and helpful and confirmed that our special requirements of no fish had been noted. The food was delicious and there was a good choice of cakes and mini desserts as well as the normal scones, clotted cream and jam. However, the homemade mince pie was simply superb. I am 57yrs old and eaten a lot of mince pies over the years, and I can say this was THE BEST MINCE PIE I have ever eaten!!

It was a lovely experience. Staff were very helpful, kind and very pleasant. I have coeliac disease. And the waiter provided me with a menu of all things gluten free. Which is amazing. The food was amazing. Both myself and my partner enjoyed ourselves very much.

Great experience with attentive staff. A total surprise when our waiter brought out 2 pieces of chocolate cake with a birthday candle, on a plate with Happy birthday piped on it, for my husband. It was a great surprise. He also had a complimentary glass of champagne! Would recommend this venue as one of the best.

Amazing afternoon tea; seated in the Lanson Champagne bar and were practically the only guests sitting for a 4PM tea. Wonderfully decadent to have the place virtually to ourselves on Christmas Eve Eve!
