Best American Restaurants in Glenelg

This was our second time here. We returned because the service the first time was outstanding and we also enjoyed the food. This visit didn’t disappoint. I took the recommendation of our server, Gabe, for the Chilean Sea Bass. It was perfectly prepared and came with a sauce that was so good I wanted something to sop up the last bits with. I praised it so highly that the Chef came out to say hello. Grill 620 is one of our favorites.

I’m still giving this restaurant 5 stars regardless of one issue. They had ran out of a few items on the already set menu to choose from in a 4 course meal that allowed different options for each course. The staff were great, the food was awesome and the environment was great to be able to have a nice dinner conversation. The alternate meal options to sub for what they ran out of was still delicious. They also offered a free dessert for my next visit due to running out. Thank you so much for a great experience!

We had an amazing time dining at Mad Chef for Valentine's Day. We had 4 people in our party. Two people in our party had food restrictions. One of them was vegan, they created a meal that was not on their menu to accommodate her. The other person had a dairy allergy and they were able to accommodate his needs. Our waiter, Logan, and staff checked on us throughout our meals. All of our entrées and drinks were top-notch. We would recommend Mad Chef to everyone.

First time diners…very impressive restaurant! Food was very good and the staff were very attentive and the waiter was great always checking in with us! We were there for Valentines Day and were very happy and treated like we were the only ones there…no rush. Happy with our experience and will definitely make reservations again there! A+

We had an excellent dinner! Split an order of Brussels sprouts with the liquid feta and they were delish. I ordered the Bohemian Raspberry drink that was so delicious and made me wish I wasn’t driving because I definitely would’ve had another! My dinner was the scallops deluxe and it was delicious. The heath bread pudding ended our meal on a sweet note! Great place and wonderful service. I’ve never had anything that wasn’t great! Worth a visit!
