Best American Restaurants in Johns Island

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and Oak acknowledged it in a lovely manner…thank you! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional…thank you Eric.

Excellent service, smaller food portions, vibrant but a bit noisy. Great for larger groups.

The food was great and our server was very pleasant. Unfortunately the first impression was a bit tarnished by the unfriendly hostess. No warm greeting, given a wobbly table up against a wall and was the only table the candle wasn’t lit. When I mentioned the table was wobbly, I didn’t get much of a response. The manager did come fix it. Just little details that could make the place a better expierence.

Our experience was great, had reservations and were seated immediately. Service was quick, food quality was great, and the atmosphere was quiet. Recommend everyone to come here and eat!

One of my favorite restaurants. I usually get the Wagyu Steak when I go. However, the price doubled on this most recent visit, and I was told by the waiter it was $240 for 4 oz. I was told the price increased to be comparable with Halls Chophouse. However, Halls’ Wagyu Steak is $35 per ounce ($140/ 4 oz). So, I didn’t get the Wagyu steak, and due to price, I’m not certain that I’d return there again. I do enjoy the food, ambience, and service at Peninsula Grill, but several menu changes over the years along with increasing prices have made me less excited about going.
