The menu had great options, the waiter Reid was fantastic with his great recommendations and service, the atmosphere was quiet and elegant. Me and my date was just amazed at everything. The one downside was the bathrooms which could have been cleaner but other than that the entire night was memorable. We ordered the fancy cornbread (delicious and the butter was top notch) and the fried oyster special (cooked perfectly) as our appetizers. My husband got the fried chicken (it's a half chicken and MASSIVE) with mac & cheese and the pepper gravy. I ordered the pot roast, which was amazing and had the most delicious carrots I've ever had with it. For dessert we ordered the Valentine's special chocolate Pot de Creme with peanut butter mousse. We wanted to try a few things so we ordered: chargrilled oysters, the crab dip, and the chicken bites. I also ordered the beet salad. As our entrees, we had the blackened grouper, broiled seafood platter, and my son had the burger. I know, it was a lot of food but everything was delicious. Wife and I went here for a Valentine’s date after spending our rehearsal dinner here last year. Was a little nervous about sitting outside in February (we reserved close to the day and that’s all that was left), but it’s well heated and enclosed so we were very comfortable. Plus, it was quiet compared to sitting inside. High prices but justified by the wonderful quality of food and service.
