Best American Restaurants in South Las Vegas

It was great, we went with a group of five, got there 5 minutes late even though we left 30 minutes early. We got a notification that our table was ready at 11:20 (our reservation was for 11:45) we had to find parking since they’re located right on the strip. It took a while even though we cut through the casino. The place was very nice, we waited a minute or two for our table. The staff was very friendly and gave us suggestions. The food didn’t take very long to come. The views we got were great. The seats were comfortable, and the table was clean. It was honestly amazing. We got the Wellington, chicken, and filet. And the Mac and cheese, Brussel sprout, and the mashed. Everything was great. No one at our table had and complaints or dislikes about the food, sides, or garnish. No negatives at all besides the parking.

Great experience from the moment we walked in. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Bread service was good. Crab cake was delicious and shareable. The main steak and side of asparagus was cooked perfectly. They even make it special for my birthday!

In short, great place and would definitely recommend and come back.... My wife & I (and some friends) are from NC and came to Vegas for a 5 day conference/mini vacation stayed at the South Point Casino. I found Bootleggers recommended on social media and checked it out. Flew in Thursday afternoon and had reservations at 5:30PM for 4 people. We arrived at 5:00, were seated (not many other tables occupied) and for the next 2 hours thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter Alfredo was attentive and informative as to the vast amount of selections, recommendations and options. What I was most impressed about was how the staff worked as a team - silent and effective. Water filled, used plates removed, moved at a fast pace, everyone helped each other to get the job done. The food came out of the kitchen by another "team" and based upon the notes they had, they knew where every plate was supposed to go... no yelling out "who had the spaghetti.....?" Just a well trained team, a very pleasant experience, the way a quality restaurant should be run. By the time we were done and left, the entire restaurant was full and people were waiting for tables (on a Thursday night). Most of the patrons were locals and this is truly a gem of Vegas. I came here after ten yearsI had a great impression back then so I wanted to revist when I am back to Vegas Food selection is huge Too much food Price has increased since 85 dollar for adult and 50 dollars for kids. This is without tax service and tip So very pricy I am not a meat eater or a big sea food eater my husband daughter both ate suchi crab legs and brisket steak and they loved it I can comment on veggie options Pizza and pasta and salads selection r great my son is a picky eater and hence they did not have plain cheese pizza or french fries so they can make items even if not displayed in the menu which was great for my son The chinese section had alot of Veggie options I fell in love with the glass noodles ( ate two plates) and also veggie role yummy I have to say that the desert were not as good as I recall I remember they had yummy chocoloate lava cake( now way smaller and not good) and they had thr pistachiu lava cake that was woow. Did not have it yeaterday and not sure if they make it. We tried alot of deseet. Creme burlee was so good and also liked taro cake pudding was yummy. The rest were average or below. Coffee was good and our server was excellent

Our first visit there and was not disappointed at all. The atmosphere and the food was perfect. I had to fillet/lobster and I still keep talking about it. My husband had the Beef Wellington and although he loved it once he tasted my lobster he wished he ordered the same. The spinach stuffed mushrooms and Jennies mashed potatoes were just as delicious. I totally recommend Joe's for a wonderful night out and look forward to taking our daughter for her birthday.
