- BBettyVIPSan Diego •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur experience for Christmas dinner was overall pretty good. The service was great and the staff was friendly. The food was very delicious, we enjoyed the octopus, wagyu meatballs and the flatbread. For dinner we had the roasted chicken, surf and turf, beef wellington and chilean sea bass with mac and cheese, brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Steak was delicious! Lobster tail could of used a bit more seasoning. Beef wellington was great but the crust tasted like ritz crackers. Chilean Sea bass was tasty, the sauce was sweet and buttery. To one of my kids it had a taste of sea moss. The mac n cheese was good but a little underwhelming. Brussel sprouts were good with a hint of spice, but the reduction sauce was a bit too sweet and overpowering the vegetable. The potatoes were good. Great experience overall, and we do intend to come back to try other items on the menu.More infoGordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen - Washington DCPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary European• Southwest Waterfront•4.5

There was a guy there fixing it, and the manager gave my table a heater because of my elderly parents. It was a wonderful fix. The server was absolutely wonderful, and she made my birthday memorable!!More infoMilk & Honey - The WharfPrice: Moderate• American• Southwest Waterfront•4.1

My favorite lunch dish at Makers Union is the kale Ceasar but was disappointing. The salad was soggy and the chicken tasted processed. I am writing it off as a bad day and will return. My colleague loved her chix sandwich.More infoMakers Union - The WharfPrice: Expensive• American• Southwest Waterfront•3.7
