Best American Restaurants in Windermere

Overall. I like this restaurant. And I will say that whatever service issues we’ve always had, they seem to be more from the layout, training and system than from the individual servers. But it has to be mentioned. Going to this restaurant, we always know that the service will not be very good. From the always missing hostess, to the poor food service. They are poorly trained, always look new to the process and aren’t that educated about the menu. And I feel that I have to talk about the menu. Covid ended awhile ago. Why do we have to use a QR code to see the food menu? The wine and spirits menu is printed out and used as the placemat. Maybe I missed it but couldn’t they fit the food menu on this by printing on the other side? Or just print up menus to hand out? Having said all of the above, the food is good and not very expensive, and that keeps us coming back. But not as often as we would if the entire experience wasn’t so frustrating.

Wonderful server, nicely paced meal, never felt rushed. I had scallops which were good, others had pork chop which was absolutely delicious, highly recommended. Also the seating staff was amazingly accommodating and friendly. A must do.

Greeted warmly. Offered inside or outside rooftop dining and selected outside. Was perfect. Lots of personal attention. Selected tasting menu and it was outstanding. Rather than wine pairing, asked for 2 half pours to pair best with the courses and that was well considered. I’ll be back!

Phenomenal! Food is delicous and wait staff are greatly hospitable

We love dining here when we visit Orlando. We usually go for the character breakfast but unfortunately I made a planning error. If you’re going for the character breakfast be sure to confirm the dates the characters are there. The manager, Deidre, went above and beyond to make our breakfast so special. The food is unbelievable every single time. There’s no breakfast that compares to this. Highly recommend!
