She was educated about specials and menu. We got our drinks and ordered food right away. We did not feel rushed. The decor was very warm and welcoming. The food was was assembled with great thought. Came out hot! Notable dishes were short rib, salmon, crab/lobster bisque. Wine prices were a little excessive. Not a good place for large party, we had 8 people and they put us in what seemed to be a “meeting room” with another large party and it was quite noisy. Roof top was nice, although view of city was obstructed by structure of original hotel. We all shared the famous fish and chips which was spot on. Two of us ordered the innovative summer salad, me with salmon and mine with their burger patty. Last gust had the chx caesar salad.
