Best Asian Restaurants in King West

It was my first time at Akira Back for my anniversary and I was taken aback. Firstly, the ambience is beautiful with a lot of attention to detail, a modern design and low lighting - perfect for a date night! Our server Rishi was extremely attentive throughout the night, providing recommendations, free champagne and dessert with a personalized anniversary note handwritten across the plate. She also was so detail-oriented as to fold my fiancé's napkin when he went to the bathroom. Three different servers made a point to wish us a "Happy Anniversary," which we were grateful for. Next, the food was outstanding! I would highly recommend the Grilled Alaskan King Crab (the presentation was stellar and taste was A+) and any of the sushi rolls! The tuna just melts in your mouth. Ugh! We also had the Miso Black Cod which was glazed in a sweet, buttery sauce. The Ribeye was good but not great because all the others were so unique compared to what we're used to when dining out. All in all, I'd highly recommend. Though this is not a cheap place to eat, it's so worth it for a special occasion. Also bonus points for the photo ops in the staircase!

Dailo is always delicious but this time we did winterlicious with a group of 4 - the waiter was smart about it and pre-emptively suggested everyone "ordering" a different item, but brought it out in portions enough for everyone, so that we ended up being able to eat the entire menu! Great value! Would definitely do it again.

Spectacular meal last night at Lee. First - it's a beautiful and elegant space. Second - the service was excellent. Third - the food was not only beautifully presented, it was all perfectly prepared and very, very good, with many interesting and appealing options on the menu. My best meal out in Toronto in quite a while.

The menu was absolutely next level. Every dish was a masterpiece with bold flavors and made with the finest ingredients. Miss Ivy delivers on every level from inventive small plates to share to a perfectly seared steak to fresh seafood. For the drinks, the expertly crafted cocktails and the great selection of top-shelf spirits make the bar a standout. And if you’re a fan of live music or DJs, you’re in for a treat. There’s always something happening to elevate the experience even further. Miss Ivy is more than just a place to eat and drink, it’s a destination.
