The oysters were incredibly fresh, the mackerel was packed with flavor, and the steak—wow—easily the best we’ve had in Hertford! Every bite was perfection. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a special night out. My partner and I were so impressed that we’re already planning our next visit.     Always a delight and a regularly returning visitor. Food is excellent, seasoned perfectly and not over-salted, and generously portioned. Service is excellent and the decor is quirky and charming. Definitely recommended
