Great place to eat, everyone was polite and went out of their way to make our time there a good one. We were seated within a few minutes after arriving. Once we ordered food it came fairly quick. Our waitress was super friendly.

Mr. Tolhurst…Bravo! You have done an amazing job of creating such an inviting experience for everyone that walks in to the restaurant. Here’s another freebie “excellence is not a mistake“ and the Restaurant screams intentionalism from the time you walk in and you’re greeted, to the people that seat you at your table, to the cleanliness of the restaurant, the quality of the food, the time in which it’s delivered , etc, etc, etc! I can’t say enough good things about our experience tonight. But I will just say thank you very much for laboring so diligently to give us one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. I am very, very picky about Mexican food, and let me tell you:Javier's is Magnificent. First, a tasty jalapeno marg that actually has some bite. The Aguachile Del Rey was superb, as good as, or better than anything I've had in Vallarta, and I've never had octopus that was this tender. The braised pork chile verde was MASTERFUL, just absolute perfection (I know because this is something I've attempted at home many times, without success). Beautiful, intimate/enveloping yet airy setting on the casino floor. HIGHLY recommend. Thank you Carmen for your help today!

We ordered 3 appetizers and they were all very good! I have allergies and I asked for no garnish on our food. I clearly asked for nothing green to be added. Everything was served with raw, green weeds thrown on top. But I easily removed them and ate the food anyway. I would return to this restaurant.
