This place is perfect for west Bloomfield. You get a really good vibe and the atmosphere is amazing. Grown and sexy scenery with a hint of downtown Detroit floods feel. The owner and his wife are very polite. They will make you feel like you are family and the prices aren’t bad. Definitely will be back soon. Last the staff was awesome. Perfect place for intimate birthday parties.

The ambiance is incredible at the Aparatus Room! I brought my out of town family here after Christmas and they all were so impressed with everything. Our server, Kate, was wonderful, kind and helpful with the menu. Of the seven guests 4 had the smoked pork chop and raved about it's great flavor. The others had the beet risotto with salmon, the short rib with butternut squash puree and a lightly dressed bacon spinnach salad,(so delish and tender) and finally, the last dish was the halibut with a sauce that was fantastic. We ordered 2 salads for the 7 of us which was perfect portions. This is my third time here and we are never disappointed. Oh yea, the coolest part was when we arrived early, we asked for a tour of the hotel. Our tour guide had a wealth of information to share with us. Great Detroit history lesson! I would highly recommend coming for dinner at the Aparatus Room!

Came here for a date night and Jay, our server, was great! He made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond, will definitely be beck!!

Loved the vibes! Decoration, service and atmosphere. Food was beautiful and tasty. Our waitress was really nice and attentive.

An exceptional experience from start to finish! The decor at 220 Merrill is modern and inviting, creating a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere. The dishes were beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The seafood pasta was a standout, and the dessert selection was decadent. The staff really knows how to make you feel special, and they made our celebration even more memorable. Highly recommend!
