Close friends and co-founders Joe Welch and Zach Feinberg collaborated with award-winning winemaker Matt Smith to source wine from top winemaking regions. I did so much research online for this trip to San Francisco. Nothing else measured up to the reviews I found. Scoma's, on the other hand, surpassed everything I had read before eating there. Service was more personable than expected, food was great. Our reservation was honored and we basically walked right in. No wait. Wonderful experience. Wish we would have eaten there every night.
