The Pain Perdue (French Toast) was out of this world -- delicate with a hint of citrus and sweet as honey. Would make this one of my top recommendations for brunch in DC. The service was wonderfully prompt and not intrusive, and the dining room is vraiment francaise, soft pastels and classic decor. Always one of our favorites, Chez Billy Sud did not disappoint! Great for out of town guests too.More infoChez Billy SudPrice: Moderate• French• Georgetown•4.8

The atmosphere is so charming. We bring guests from out of town and have business lunches here just as often as we come for a night out for just the two of us.More infoEt VoilaPrice: Expensive• French• Palisades Northwest•4.8

- LLindavipWashington, D.C. Area •71 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAs genuine Francophiles who go to France every year, La Piquette is our favorite French restaurant in the DC metro area. It’s the most authentic brasserie/bistro vibe and has the consistently good food you expect to find in Paris or any town in France. The service is so professional and friendly. The staff appreciates regular customers and we won’t ever stop going there. What to eat? It’s all good. My favorite appetizers are the pork rillettes, the artichoke, the pate, the sweetbreads, and the tomato tart. For entree’s, the steak frites, rabbit linguine, veal Milanese style, any of the fish dishes, especially when they have skate wing. The only drawback is the noise level. People just don’t know how to use their inside voices. Too bad for all of us other diners who are just trying to have a quiet conversation.More infoLa PiquettePrice: Expensive• French• Cleveland Park•4.9
