Best Bistros in Upper Lake

What a lovely place. Unexpectedly reasonably priced.

Always a delight to have dinner at Mathilde's French Bistrot. My French-Canadian family was impressed and Lena, the owner and restaurateur, was warm and welcoming. The steak frites was cooked just right, and my parents enjoyed their Halibut and Duck confit. The risotto exploded with flavor when my wife shared a taste with me. The ambience in either the patio or main dining room is pleasant, roomy enough to give a sense of privacy to each table/party, and we could talk to each other without having to raise our voices since the playlist of French chansons acted as pleasant accompaniment rather than loud headliner. I highly recommend you have a meal there before it closes for good on 12/31/2024. Sad to see them go...

Park & Howard has always delivered great service and tasty food! And it all starts when booking groups - Gizem is ALWAYS helpful and gracious, and all of the staff at P&H are very professional and courteous! Great place for small tables or larger group dinners!

We went to Reve to celebrate the birthday of a friend, and it was a perfect place to have a special occasion dinner. The service was outstanding, the food was quite good, and the ambiance is homey, warm, and quiet enough to hold a conversation.

We ate dinner at 2pm on Thanksgiving. The food was very good with quite a few choices. Service was prompt and attentive. We were seated in a quiet area. Seating in both outside and inside areas worked well as we were crowded into an area with too many people and too much noise.
