Wonderful afternoon, Tea. The staff were extremely pleasant and very friendly. I reserved a table as a birthday celebration, and I received a small cream cupcake with a candle and birthday wish with it The environment is so clean and bright. Wow! We went to The Poet for the first time last night to celebrate a significant birthday and it was fantastic. From the moment we entered the building we were made to feel very special. The food was amazing and the staff very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed every bit of the evening. I would highly recommend The Poet to anyone wanting to experience top quality restaurant food and wine.

Superb food -- one of the best meals I've had in the local area. Lamb chop and beef fillet were real highlights. Friendly, warm and welcoming, with drinks by a cosy fire. More of a gastro pub so different from most pubs in the area -- in a good way: remarkable quality and attention to detail. We will be back soon!
