- SSimonLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoHad a wonderful time at The Ivy Canterbury. We arrived early but were seated immediately. The restaurant was busy but not too noisy and the decor and ambience was excellent. Our waitress Millie, was very friendly and quick to attend to our needs. Food and drinks were bought to us in a timely manner and the food was excellent (the Ivy Snowman quite something although I'd recommend to share). Despite the place being busy and a clear demand for tables, at no point did we feel rushed and after we finished our meal and settled the bill, we moved to the bar to have a few more drinks at our leisure where once again the mixologists were chatty and friendly and able to make a multitude of cocktails of our choosing without having to check how to make them. The food and drink were on the pricier side but you get what you pay for and the bill was not unreasonable for what we received. As a Canterbury resident, I think I have a new favourite restaurant/bar.More infoThe Ivy, CanterburyPrice: Moderate• British• Canterbury•4.3
- LLizKent •1 review4.0Dined on 3 Dec 2024What a lovely treat! So many lovely fresh sandwiches with really tasty fillings; scones and cakes with mini mince pies for the seasonal touch. A lovely big pot of tea with a 3 minute timer for the perfect brew and a glass of Prosecco to celebrate the occasion! What a lovely way to celebrate a birthday and start the Christmas season! Such lovely staff, attentive without being obvious and patient when we were making decisions. Thank you! We will come again and let our friends know how nice a time we had!More infoThe Peacock Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• British• Canterbury•3.7
