- KKarenLondon •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAmazing food, service and atmosphere as always. We live in London and would give anything to find somewhere like this closer to home. Thankfully, we have family in Newcastle, which means we get to visit Broad Chare several times a year. Thank you for looking after us Broad Chare Team!More infoThe Broad CharePrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8
- SSteveLondon •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoSince its relaunch and service of only tasting menus, Six has become one of our very favourite restaurants - which is slightly odd because we usually avoid tasting menus. We had the nine-course menu, the alternatives being a six-course and vegetarian six and nine-course alternatives. One great thing is that, not being oyster-lovers, one can swap out a course that doesn't appeal for a veggie alternative. Service is attentive but without crowding, and friendly rather than stiffly formal, which we like. Every course was a masterpiece in taste and presentation, and we've eaten worse in Michelin-starred places at twice the price. Wine starts at under £30 a bottle, but you can push the boat out and pay far more. So not a cheap place but very good value, and with excellent waiting staff.More infoSix BalticPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.7
- KKatieLincolnshire •4 reviews5.0Dined on 30 Jan 2025Such a treat, we were served by Sam all night who was delightful helping us with our food and drink choices and telling us about the local area. Music was familiar and easy on the ear. The food was tremendous, we shared the Camembert which was great and perfect for two. I had the vegan option for my main which was outstanding my husband had haggis which he loved and said would have again, high praise! Made the mistake of having a pudding each and sharing, best sticky toffee pudding ever and the apply crumble was perfect. Went home absolutely stuffed!
