Best Caribbean Restaurants in Gloucester City

Came here for the first time and it was excellent! The food was great (had Jerk Pork, Curry Chicken, Sweet Plantains, Beef Soup) and the value was excellent. We took home almost a whole second meal. The service and atmosphere were great. I’ve been to some of the Jamaican places downtown and I am so excited that there is one this excellent so much closer to home! This was my first time dinning at Bahama Breeze and I had an overall pleasant experience. The food was pretty good; I had the Mahi Mahi, which was great except for the tomato salad on top, which was rather salty. I had the coconut shrimp and the crab dip as well, and they were good. The service was okay, but could have been better. Our waitress made great suggestions, but we had to ask a couple times for utensils and water, which was annoying. But for me, the atmosphere of the restaurant was the best part of the whole experience! I loved the music and the decorations, and the whole vibe. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and will be sure to visit again!

I had an amazing experience! The service was top-notch, attentive, and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious, with a great selection to choose from. But what really stood out was the atmosphere - good vibes all around! And a special shoutout to the jerk wings... they were SUPERB! Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. I'd highly recommend them! Overall, I'd definitely be back for more. Great job, team!

Place is perfect for a romantic dates.. went for my birthday and got free desert and the service was perfect
