Best Caribbean Restaurants in Parkdale

Seems Chubby’s has modified their menu since last time I was here in 2023. I definitely like today’s menu. Best fried okra I’ve ever had. Jerk chicken, especially the wings are delicious as well as the plantain chips n dip. Probably won’t order the ackee & salt fish appetizer again though. I love ackee but the bread they used was either stale or over baked as it was difficult to chew. Soursop drink was so good. Carrot cake was delicious but so small (price doesn’t justify). Raisin rum bread pudding 8/10. Would like to come back here for the fried okra!

A new favourite! Food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the pork belly tacos, the best and pineapple salad and the fried chicken. The tres leches cake was unreal and the cocktails were super refreshing and bursting with flavour. Vibe was vibin' and service, attentive!!

Everything from top to bottom was lovely. I came here for my birthday and every staff member we interacted with wished me a happy birthday and was so inviting. The restaurant itself had a really cool, elevated style and along with the great music they were playing, it created a really nice atmosphere. Of course, can't say enough about the food. So delicious, depth of flavours, presentation. We ordered the short ribs and charred chicken, along with the coconut rice. All was amazing. I will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu!

We went to celebrate the end of the year. The food was delicious, and it felt as if we were on a vacation somewhere warm. The amazing music and smiles of everybody working there, made it extra especial.

Great experience at Scott Hill, the food was delicious and the service and atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommended.
