Located in the Upper East Side, Tang By MR. SUN offers a unique fusion of Eastern and Western culinary traditions. Our founder envisioned a place where Chinese cuisine is celebrated for its elegance, not just the familiar heavy, oily dishes. We pride ourselves on using premium ingredients, such as filet mignon for our Beef & Broccoli and tiger prawns in our Shrimp Satay. Our culinary journey began with a small eatery near Rockefeller Center, where our seasoned chefs, recruited from China, honed their skills in adapting authentic Chinese flavors to suit the local palate. We've since added a young chef to our team, bringing new flair and modern presentation to our dishes. We invite you to try our signature dishes, including the flavorful Curry Veggies, spicy Kung Pao Chicken, rich Beijing Chicken, savory Beef Rib, luxurious Truffle Scallion Pancake, indulgent Lobster Crunchy Noodles, and sumptuous Creamy King Crab Udon. Delicious food. I come here for 5 years now for my birthday. Started at financial district location and now I also visit the Times Square location. Each has its on vibe. Both have outstanding food, service and atmosphere. My favorite is the duck. I sometimes come just for that and the Philly Cheesesteak Dumplings. I use to stay away from lobster until I tried their fried lobster and now I'm converted. This place is always the first place I mention when asked for a recommendation. Patrons also seem to put effort into how they look which adds to the already great experience. I suggest that when you step in, you were something that will impress because everyone else will be. Finally, its not not pricey buts its definitely worth it and I have neve been dissapointed.

Friendly and good service. Plenty of food with good prices. The beef over spinach and mushrooms was excellent, the Lomein is a pass. Overall, better places to go but check it out and make your decision, your going to get a decent meal. $15 lunch is a good way to test the waters.
