Service was great, and Rosemary aptly helped us pick out the best pairings of noodles or rice. Prices are reasonable. One word of caution: the red onions in the chicken dish are potent. We'll be back.More infoBig Bowl-LincolnshirePrice: Moderate• Chinese• Lincolnshire•4.7

THE MAIN ISSUE WE HAD WAS WITH 1 IN OUR PARTY WHO DID HAVE A SEVERE FOOD ALLERGY: We came in and were super excited about our meal. We had 1 person who is severely allergic to gluten/ is Celiac, which we mentioned in our reservation. We called ahead to discuss the options on the phone, we messaged the restaurant about it on OpenTable ahead of time, and spoke to our server about it when we sat down, who then spoke to the House Manager about it. We were assured that "it would be treated like a peanut allergy, as though it could kill someone". After ordering from the Gluten-Free menu, my friend had to take 6 Benadryl in the middle of the night because her eyes were swollen shut and now is so sick that she cannot keep anything down. I am not saying the food was bad in any way (for those of us that do not have any restrictions), but the fact that we were assured 4x that there would be no issues almost sent her to the hospital and that really upset our entire party. I have worked in many restaurants and we did our due diligence to make sure she would be accommodated and the restaurant completely failed her, especially on a $600 dinner.More infoDuck Duck GoatPrice: Expensive• Chinese• West Loop•4.8
- GGregoryChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFirst off, I would like to say that our server Fran was not only very attentive, but she was very thorough describing the food. She was also very patient with us individually to help us make our selections. We started with the Empanada De Tamalito which were outstanding. The entrée choices were Churrasco Escabechado, the steak was very tender much to my liking and the plantains really outstanding. We ordered four servings of Lomo Saltado and boy am I telling you my friends swore this was the best meal they have ever had. I can’t wait to eat my leftovers, I wanted so bad to eat the rest when I returned home but I was stuffed. Last but not least the dessert was chart topping, I don’t remember the name but ice cream was served with it. It is a must have. Overall for my friends it was their first experience at a Peruvian restaurant and they scored it a 10.More infoTantaPrice: Expensive• Peruvian• River North (Chicago)•4.7

The food came ordered came out quickly and with enough time to finish soap before the main fish came out. The waitress was always around to check if we needed refills.More infoP.F.
