- DDoriNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoRustic Root was great as usual. I had only been there for brunch and my latest outing there was for dinner. Ambience was great with dim lighting. Food was fantastic and fresh as usual. I took a newbie with me and she thanked me for introducing her to the restaurant. I will definitely be back!More infoRustic RootPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Woodbury•4.6

Went to bar to have a drink, martinis. Not impressed with the experience. Only had 2 brand options, Tito's or Kettle One. Serving was rather ordinary, olives were rather ordinary, no blue cheese option, and very pricey for the end product ($22 each). Wine at dinner was good, though. But, will go back again, and omit the martinis.More infoGioiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Oyster Bay•4.6

The octopus could have been tenderized a little more. Burrata was supposed to have heirloom tomatoes, but came with just regular Roma tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. I get it, heirlooms are out of season, but don’t keep it on the menu. Gnocchi was very flavorful but a little gritty. No espresso for the end of the meal so our bartender made espresso martinis. They were excellent. Overall, great date night. We will return.More infoOak and VinePrice: Expensive• American• Glen Cove•4.1
- RRobertNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFarm Italy is one of maybe (3) restaurants in Huntington at this level of overall quality. Food and experience was very, very good. The service we received from Justin T was outstanding, proper yet not overbearing or annoying anything requested was quickly furnished. Only improvements might be that the decor is not exceptional yet it is pleasant and once a small child within earshot left the noise level was excellent for conversation without speaking loudly. A little surprised that bread and exceptional olive oil was not brought to the table. Small item but prefer water in a goblet with abundant ice. On food appetizers were exceptional. We had mussels with tomatoes and Calabrian oil, mista salad and burrata with tomatoes, crostini, and balsamic. We wanted to try every appetizer. As this is an Italian restaurant we went with Pasta and they did not disappoint, properly al dente and not swimming in sauce. We truly look forward to returning to try the rest of the menu soon.More infoThe Farm Italy Restaurant + BarPrice: Expensive• Italian• Huntington•4.6

The service was great-very attentive. The pasta dish was amazing as was the shrimp & grits. My son seemed pleased with the salmon jerk bowl, too. The live music was an added pleasure as the female singer & band members were very talented! I would highly recommend!More infoRed Rooster HarlemPrice: Moderate• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Harlem•4.7
