- GGabriellaPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was fresh and tasted amazing. Had the sea bass, 10/10. Had every raw oyster they had available and loved every single one. The broccolini Caesar was amazing as well. Will definitely go back to try the crab fried rice.More infoVernick FishPrice: Expensive• Cocktail Bar• Center City•4.7
- JJillianPhiladelphia County •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWent for the Sunday brunch with kids. The view and the ambiance cannot be beat. Food was fantastic and the brunch dessert bar was incredible. Well worth the trip. However, we had an 11:30 reservation and the coat check/ concierge guy kept telling us the restaurant wasn’t ready for us yet. After 20 minutes I finally walked down to the bottom of the steps where the restaurant was and the hostess said they had been waiting for us. This was seriously annoying as we had 3 kids and a full agenda for the afternoon. Once we were seated the experience was great. The restaurant should have better communication between its staff. In hindsight, I don’t think the coat check guy even spoke to the restaurant.More infoSkyHighPrice: Moderate• Cocktail Bar• Center City•4.7
- WWesleyPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoTo be fair, I personally went to Almanac for drinks and so the food rating was based upon price point, uniqueness, and description. However, best you make your own decisions. The drinks, service, price and ambiance were terrific. I was treated with kindness the moment I walked in and those feelings of kindness, joy of service and attention to detail did not diminish as my evening went on. The head bartender, Rob, and his amazing second, Jordan, were absolutely incredible and I was lucky to be able to watch them in action at the bar. They talked happily with patrons while offering challenging options to customized drinks. I personally had a highball (refreshing and great start to the evening), a Kasugai Sour (a personal selection by the bartender, Rob), and ended my evening with a House Punch (a selection by Jordan). Almanac was incredible. With a focus on slowing things down and savoring every moment, with and without a drink, it was well worth the wait.More infoAlmanacPrice: Expensive• Cocktail Bar• Old City•4.7
- JJamieNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024This was our first time dining at JG, overall the experience was amazing. The staff is extremely attentive, knowledgeable and enjoyable. We choose the tasting menu, one of us tried the "from the earth" menu- it was so creative and you think about vegetarian dishes very differently. The "land and sea" was also amazing. There was some debate at our table how well the cabbage and lobster dish worked together but overall an absolutely amazing experience!More infoJean-Georges PhiladelphiaPrice: Moderate• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Center City•4.7
- NNickiPhiladelphia County •26 reviews4.0Dined on 22 Dec 2024Really cool, vintage atmosphere with great, live music. We had a reservation but upon arrival, finding out who to connect with to be seated was chaotic and unclear. Once we found who we had to check in with, seating was relatively quick but still a lot of shuffling back & forth, in a crowded bar area before being escorted to our final destination. The hostes was very nice & our server was also pleasant. Service was a bit slow but it was getting busy. Drinks tasted good but seemed like a very light pour, for the prices charged. Having the option to go over to the club without having to leave the building was also a big plus!More infoMidnight & The WickedPrice: Expensive• Cocktail Bar• Center City•4.7
