Best Cocktail Bars in Downtown

Enjoyed a nice meal among the beautiful holiday decor of Hotel Contessa. Patio seating is available under the lights of the riverwalk, adjacent to marriage island. Steaks were delicious Japanese Akaushi beef cooked to perfection and the creme brulee is a must. Valet parking will be validated for all Ambler patrons and if you are lucky, the ducks will visit on the patio.

First time dining at the Crockett Tavern. Met friends for 6:45 dinner. Start to finish it was a very enjoyable experience. Scot took very good care of us.

My wife and I ate dinner at Brenner’s on a Wednesday evening. The place was busy but our reservation was ready on time. Our waiter, Daniel, was superb. knowledgeable, pleasant, attentive and helpful. His suggested appetizer of bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp was absolutely superb. We both ate the short rib with mole and grits, honestly one of the best dishes either of us has eaten in a long time. Wines by the glass were acceptable in quality and price. Clearly we did not eat or drink from the high end of the menu which would have been way over the top in price, but what we chose was fair value. Overall a very good experience.

The setting is perfect with a great view of the river and the boats. The live music was very good. We enjoyed our meal, and the service was excellent.

This was my first time at hugmans and it was a wonderful experience! The drinks were fantastic and the bartender was very friendly and welcoming.
